Our Lady of Good Counsel celebrated mass for all Law Enforcement personnel for those who served, who are currently serving and who have given the ultimate sacrifice. 

Our Lady of Good Counsel Men's retreat was held at Our Lady of Corpus Christi in February. 

The Month of May was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady of Good Counsel had a Rosary ceremony dedicated to our Veterans, who are currently serving, retired, missing in action and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The feast of Corpus Christi, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord, celebrates the institution of the Holy Eucharist and is marked by special displays of devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, most notably Eucharistic processions. Our Lady of Good Counsel celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi. It was a true blessing to see our church community coming together as One Body of Christ. Several Priest, Knights, and other members of the congregation and surrounding parishes participated in this beautiful event. Pope Francis said “To live the experience of faith means to let the Lord nourish us and to build our existence not on material goods, but on the reality that does not perish: the gifts of God, his word and his body.”

In Kingsville, Bishop Michael Mulvey joined the 1.3 mile procession from St. Martin of Tours to St. Gertrude where he celebrated Mass. Parishioners from Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Joseph also participated. This was the second year for this celebration which processed from St. Gertrude to St. Martin of Tours.
